Your Role and Responsibilities
As our School Administrator, you will be the welcoming face of Easthorpe School, ensuring a positive experience for parents, visitors, and colleagues. Your key responsibilities will include:
Reception Duties
- Answering the phone with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Welcoming visitors and ensuring they sign in and receive a visitor's badge.
- Maintaining the shared calendar and updating school information.
- Providing refreshments for visitors and managing resource ordering.
- Distributing internal and external correspondence.
Administrative Support
- Producing letters and memorandums.
- Maintaining filing systems and managing school correspondence.
- Inputting information onto our MIS platform, Ed:gen.
- Assisting with attendance tracking and reporting.
- Supporting the Headteacher with Local Authority correspondence.
Attendance Management
- Monitoring and tracking school attendance and punctuality.
- Communicating with parents regarding absenteeism.
- Maintaining accurate attendance records and producing reports.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding practices.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with Ed:gen and CPOMS.
- The ability to work constructively as part of a team.

Working Conditions
