Location: Office-based - Sheffield

Salary: £23,535.26 per annum

Contract: Full time, permanent

Your Role:

As a Referrals Officer, you will be the vital link between local authorities, foster families, and social workers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing referrals from local authorities and ensuring placements are matched according to children's needs.
  • Using your initiative to find creative solutions for foster placement requests.
  • Building positive relationships through effective communication, both written and face-to-face.

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop relationships.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • A passion for making a difference in the lives of children and families.
  • Previous experience in the children’s services sector is a plus, but not essential.
