Your Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Education Coordinator to join our fostering team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment, ensuring our young people receive the education they deserve to reach their full potential.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is dedicated to improving educational opportunities for looked-after children
- Has a self-starter attitude and can work independently while staying connected with team members and Foster Parents
- Possesses excellent organizational and administrative skills
- Can analyze and produce educational data collaboratively
- Is comfortable using the CHARMS database (training provided)
- Can prepare reports for management meetings
- Is confident in delivering training to Foster Parents and staff
- Understands the Code of Practice and its implications for young people
- Has experience supporting looked-after children and understands their challenges
- Can work effectively within a multi-agency team
- Has experience in educational settings
- Can attend meetings and take minutes
- Can produce ad-hoc reports and analyses
