Your Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and committed Education Coordinator to join our fostering team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment focused on ensuring our young people receive the education they deserve.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and advise on educational issues for looked-after children.
- Organize and analyze educational data to improve opportunities.
- Maintain and utilize the CHARMS database (training provided).
- Prepare reports for management meetings.
- Deliver training packages to foster parents and staff.
- Attend meetings and take minutes as required.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- A passion for improving educational opportunities for looked-after children.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- The ability to work independently while staying connected with team members.
- Experience in supporting looked-after children and understanding their challenges.
- Experience working in educational or children’s services settings.
- Confidence in collaborating with multi-agency teams.
