As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in our Service, Maintenance, and Repair division, you’ll bring your expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. From driveways to office car parks, you’ll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
Your Earnings & Work Schedule
- A competitive base salary of £40,170, with on-target earnings of up to £52,000.
- Guaranteed overtime option to increase your base salary to £44,385, plus additional overtime and bonus opportunities.
- Work 40 hours per week, with core hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, and 1 in 4 Saturdays.

Where You’ll Work
You’ll be part of the Warrington cluster, covering areas like Warrington, Widnes, Runcorn, Newton-le-Willows, Leigh, Golborne, and Ashton-in-Makerfield. Enjoy the freedom of being out on the road, working through a clearly planned schedule of appointments—no reactive callouts, just organized, pre-booked work where you can focus on doing the job properly.

- You think on your feet: You’ll be trusted to make the right call for each customer, facing new challenges every day.
What You’ll Need
Either:
- NVQ Level 2 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) with 2+ years’ experience, or
- 5+ years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic, and
- A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points.
