Salary: Base salary of £52,000, with potential earnings up to £58,600 through bonuses

We are on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our established 3-bed children's home in London. If you have 2-3 years of management experience and a strong background in supporting young people aged 9-17 with complex emotional and behavioral needs, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children and young people. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overall accountability for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children.
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations and leading staff practice.
  • Driving continuous improvement in line with Area Camden's standards and regulations.
  • Maintaining robust safeguarding systems and effective multi-agency working.
  • Supervising and mentoring staff, organizing work patterns, and ensuring effective implementation of care plans.

Requirements for the Role

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) along with NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding, including relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for children's homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for young people.
