Hours: 21 hours per week
Basic Salary: £14,117.74 (equivalent to £23,529.57 FTE)

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Education Coordinator to join our fostering team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment focused on ensuring our young people receive the education they deserve to reach their full potential.
If you have experience in an educational or children's services setting, possess excellent organizational skills, and are passionate about education, this role is perfect for you!
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Improving educational opportunities for looked-after children.
- Working independently while staying connected with team members and Foster Parents.
- Analyzing and producing information and data regarding children's education.
- Maintaining and utilizing the CHARMS database (training provided).
- Preparing reports for management meetings.
- Delivering training packages to Foster Parents and staff.
- Understanding the Code of Practice and its implications for young people in care.
- Supporting looked-after children and addressing the challenges they face.
- Collaborating with a multi-agency team.
- Attending meetings and taking minutes.
- Producing ad-hoc reports and analyses.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A strong commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for looked-after children.
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience in supporting young people in an educational setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-agency team.
