We’re on the lookout for a talented Repair Engineer to cover the South West and South Wales regions. This role is perfect for someone based in Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Cardiff, Newport, Gloucester, Cheltenham, or most of Somerset. You’ll be responsible for carrying out minor refurbishment works across a diverse range of passenger lifts, vertical access lifts, and moving walkways from various manufacturers.
In this role, you’ll deliver high-quality repair and refurbishment services while supporting our business objectives and ensuring exceptional service delivery standards. Your work will be crucial in maintaining safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction across a varied portfolio of equipment, making every day both challenging and rewarding.
You’ll be part of a supportive and well-established team reporting to the Bristol Service Branch. Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:45 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM
Your Responsibilities
- Carry out minor repairs on a wide range of lifts across our portfolio.
- Ensure high-quality service and safety standards.
- Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards.
- Support the training of apprentices and trainee engineers, using your experience to nurture the next generation.
Qualifications
Lift Engineer Requirements:
- An NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering.
- Proven experience as a Lift Engineer with a focus on minor repairs.
- A valid UK driving licence.
