Your New Role
As our portfolio continues to expand, the Global Technology & Operations team is at the forefront of building world-class media technology and IT systems. You’ll be instrumental in delivering Warner Bros. Discovery’s products and shaping our long-term technology strategy.
In this role, you’ll primarily focus on WBD Sports, participating in a transformative technology initiative that integrates on-premise and cloud solutions across Europe. If you’re excited about new technologies and want to be part of a dynamic, international team, we want you in the heart of our sports broadcast operations!
Your Role Accountabilities
As part of the M2P Engineering team, you will provide Tier 2 support and engineering expertise for MAM and post-production platforms within a hybrid environment.
Support Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier 2 support for escalated tickets.
- Coordinate incident and problem follow-ups with internal and external teams.
- Monitor platform health and performance.
- Plan maintenance activities and coordinate upgrades.
Engineering Responsibilities:
- Manage short-term engineering projects.
- Collaborate with the Tier 3 engineering team.
- Gather workflow requirements from various WBD Sports offices.
- Produce workflow and engineering documentation.
- Design centralized workflows across MAM and post-production platforms.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Degree in Technology, Engineering, Broadcast, or a related field.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; French is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Broadcast Technology.
- Experience with MAM and post-production tools.
- Solid understanding of IT technologies and broadcast technical background.
Nice to Have:
- Basic scripting and development skills.
- Knowledge of AWS services and microservices architecture.
General Working Conditions
- Shift work (evenings and weekends) may be required.
- On-call rotation as needed.
- Based in London, UK, with minimal travel expected.
- Permanent contract.
Hybrid Working
This role follows a hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work. Adjustments may be made based on business needs and in agreement with your Line Manager.
