Your Role

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and committed Education Coordinator to join our fostering team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment focused on ensuring our young people receive the education they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and advise on educational issues for looked-after children.
  • Organize and analyze educational data to improve opportunities.
  • Maintain and utilize the CHARMS database (training provided).
  • Deliver training packages to Foster Parents and staff.
  • Attend meetings and take minutes for various discussions.
  • Produce reports and analyses to support management decisions.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • A passion for improving educational opportunities for looked-after children.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • The ability to work independently while staying connected with team members.
  • Experience in supporting looked-after children and understanding their unique challenges.
  • Experience working in educational or children's services settings.
  • Confidence in collaborating with multi-agency teams.
