Your New Role
Join us at De Lane Lea, where we shape some of the industry's most exciting feature films and high-end television productions. We are on the lookout for an exceptional Online Editor to join our award-winning team in Soho, where creativity, technology, and storytelling converge to deliver world-class content.
As an Online Editor, you will work at the final stage of the post-production process, responsible for bringing projects over the finish line. You will combine your technical expertise, creative problem-solving, and an uncompromising eye for detail to ensure every frame meets the highest standards before delivery.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Perform non-linear finishing/online editing for feature films and episodic television content, including basic visual effects compositing and beauty fixes.
- Contribute to the development of digital workflows by staying ahead of emerging technology and trends.
- Communicate project details to all members of the post-production team to ensure a robust and efficient workflow.
- Conduct titling/versioning spotting sessions and incorporate design/graphic elements.
- Troubleshoot technical anomalies and ensure the correct assembly of video and audio elements.
- Maintain best practices for content security and client confidentiality.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Solid experience in a similar role within a large post-production company, delivering high-quality content for both film and television.
- Extensive list of post-production credits as an Online/Finishing Editor.
- Expert knowledge of Flame Suite and Baselight.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Suite, Mocha, Sapphire, Boris, Fusion, Nuke, and other VFX platforms.
- Experience with file-based workflows and a strong understanding of digital capture cameras, files, codecs, and workflows.
- Flexibility to accommodate a diverse set of deliverable content, including UHD, HDR, P3, PQ, and other industry trends.
- Computer literate and experienced with various computer packages.
- Familiarity with Conditions of Service, Contract of Employment, and Health and Safety regulations.
- Understanding of Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden values, policies, procedures, and guidelines, including Health & Safety.
Working Conditions
This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the workplace. WBD reserves the right to change this working agreement as necessary for business needs, with reasonable notice.
