Job Details

Location: Wymondham, Norfolk – site-based 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 45 hours per week (07:30 – 17:00)

Your Role

As a Site Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the successful and safe delivery of our civil engineering projects. You’ll lead multiple teams in executing specialist tasks such as:

  • Footway reconstruction
  • Carriageway resurfacing
  • Drainage improvements
  • Traffic signals and structures repairs

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Supervise and coordinate site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Manage daily site activities to maintain safety for both operatives and the public.
  • Conduct point-of-work risk assessments and ensure compliance with safe working procedures.
  • Lead regular toolbox talks and briefings on permit conditions and safe digging practices.
  • Provide guidance, technical support, and training to colleagues while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Hold NRSWA Operative/Supervisor certification and are committed to high standards of safety and compliance.
  • Are a qualified First Aider with a full driving license and enjoy hands-on work in the field.
  • Possess SSSTS or SMSTS certification and are confident in leading site teams.
  • Bring strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support your colleagues.
  • Are organized, proactive, and solutions-focused, with practical experience in kerbing, paving, drainage, or excavation works.
