Location & Hours
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk – site-based 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 45 hours per week

Your Responsibilities
As a Utility Detection Technician, you will play a crucial role in preventing utility strikes and ensuring our projects are delivered safely and efficiently. Using advanced surveying technology, you’ll help project teams understand what lies beneath the surface before work begins.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting detailed site surveys to identify and map underground and overhead utilities.
- Utilizing specialist equipment such as Ground Penetration Radar (GPR), CAT, and Genny to locate and investigate services.
- Accurately marking and recording utility locations, and communicating findings to operational teams.
- Interpreting utility drawings and translating technical information into clear, practical guidance.
- Supporting Safe Systems of Work and providing expert advice during planned works and site emergencies.
