Are you ready to take the lead on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects? We’re seeking a passionate Site Agent - Civils to join our dynamic HS2 team in Calvert, Buckinghamshire. Job Details

Location: Calvert, Buckinghamshire – site-based 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 45 hours per week
Note: We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.

Your Role

As a Site Agent for Kier Transportation on HS2, you will be at the forefront of complex civil engineering works. You’ll lead an integrated delivery team, ensuring that every aspect of the project is planned, resourced, and executed to the highest standards. Your leadership will be crucial in promoting health, safety, and environmental practices while driving productivity and quality in a bustling project environment.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Lead and motivate the site team to deliver works safely, on time, and within budget across multiple active workfaces.
• Set the standard for health, safety, environmental, and quality performance, ensuring project requirements are understood and adhered to.
• Coordinate supervisors, engineers, logistics, subcontractors, and plant to ensure activities are well-planned and properly resourced.
• Maintain quality assurance evidence and as-built records, supporting sectional completion and handover.
• Review resources, productivity, and programme performance, collaborating with supervisors and subcontractors to keep delivery on track.

What We’re Looking For

This role could be a perfect fit for you if you possess:

• A relevant degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, with a desire to work towards Chartered Membership of the ICE.
• A full driving licence, along with SMSTS or SSSTS and CSCS certification.
• Experience with management systems and site processes in construction or infrastructure, with HS2 project experience being a plus.
• Strong people and project management skills, with the confidence to coordinate teams and ensure safe work practices.
• A proactive, collaborative approach, complemented by good commercial and contractual awareness.
