Location & Hours

Location: Wymondham, Norfolk – Hybrid working available
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 37.5 hours per week – Enjoy the flexibility of condensed hours! Just let us know your preferences when we chat.

Your Responsibilities

As our Managing Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role within the commercial team, driving profitable projects and fostering excellent client relationships. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like:

• Lead the commercial team to secure maximum sustainable value from schemes and programmes of work.
• Oversee all commercial functions and manage contractual matters across projects.
• Manage cost controls, risk registers, and proactively deliver identified opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
• Support and develop team members through regular appraisals and clear leadership.

• Have a solid understanding of contract terms, commercial frameworks, and risk management in a project environment.
• Enjoy taking ownership of the commercial performance of projects, ensuring value is maximized while maintaining strong governance.
• Can confidently produce, monitor, and adapt forecasts to reflect project changes and evolving business needs.
• Have experience leading, mentoring, and developing commercial teams, helping others achieve their full potential.
• Build trusted relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders through clear communication and a collaborative approach.
