This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer ready to step into a management role, or for a seasoned manager eager to inspire a team to deliver exceptional service aligned with our values and safety standards.

Your Role

As our Field Service Manager, you will:

• Lead the delivery of the Branch Business Plan, overseeing key performance metrics such as PPM performance, LOLER defect management, and first-time fix rates.
• Champion our company values, ensuring our service delivery reflects our commitment to quality and operational excellence.
• Manage and support our Field workforce and subcontractors, with a focus on Health and Safety, people development, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and risk management.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, conveying complex technical information clearly and confidently.

You will be based at our LIB Service Branch in Orpington, with travel across Greater London expected, so a full UK driving licence is essential.

Working Hours

Monday to Thursday, with a half-day on Friday!

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently plan Engineers' workloads.
• Manage team absence, performance, and appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety procedures, conducting risk assessments and method statements.
• Carry out regular site monitoring.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any queries and complaints.
• Keep credit control logs and CRM updated.

Qualifications

Field Service Manager Job Requirements:

• Previous experience in the lift industry or a similar service industry with transferable skills is essential.
• Relevant technical or management qualifications are desirable.
• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering is a plus.
