Location: Slyne, Lancaster
Salary: £50,000 per annum (with potential earnings up to £55,000 through bonuses)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Specific Hours: 40 hours per week

About Us
Bay View Childcare, part of the Polaris Community, is seeking a child-focused Registered Manager for our established children’s home in Slyne, Lancaster. Our home provides care for four children aged 8-18 who face social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.

About the Role

As the Registered Manager, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, safe, and nurturing care for children in the home.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and lead staff practice.
  • Maintain strong safeguarding arrangements and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure care is child-centered and responsive to individual needs.
  • Support and develop your team through supervision and training.

Requirements for the Role

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • A Leadership and Management qualification (or willingness to work towards one) along with NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children.
  • Strong knowledge of childcare and safeguarding, including relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in managing staff teams with excellent communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for children’s homes and a commitment to achieving the best outcomes for children.
