Join Our Team as a Utility Detection Technician!
Location: Wymondham, Norfolk – Site-based, 5 days per week
Hours: Permanent Full-time, 45 hours per week

Your Responsibilities
In this vital role, you will help prevent utility strikes and ensure our projects are executed safely and efficiently. Your expertise will guide project teams in understanding what lies beneath the surface before work begins.
- Conduct detailed site surveys to identify and map underground and overhead utilities.
- Utilize specialist equipment, including Ground Penetration Radar (GPR), CAT, and Genny, to locate and investigate services.
- Accurately mark and record utility locations, communicating findings to operational teams.
- Interpret utility drawings and translate technical information into clear, practical guidance.
- Support Safe Systems of Work and provide expert advice during planned works and site emergencies.
