Basic Salary: £14,117.74 (pro-rated, £23,529.57 FTE)

Hours: 21 hours per week

Location: Head Office - Nottingham

Your Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Education Coordinator to join our fostering team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment focused on ensuring our young people receive the education they deserve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support and improve educational opportunities for looked-after children.
  • Work independently while maintaining communication with team members and foster parents.
  • Organize and analyze educational data to produce insightful reports.
  • Maintain and utilize the CHARMS database (training provided).
  • Deliver training packages to foster parents and staff.
  • Attend meetings, take minutes, and support multi-agency collaboration.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports and assist with administrative tasks.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for looked-after children.
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Experience in supporting looked-after children and understanding their unique challenges.
  • Experience in educational settings or children's services.
  • Confidence in delivering training and collaborating with multi-agency teams.
