In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to build and establish a brand-new training framework from the ground up. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that key employees, such as Relationship Managers and KYC Analysts, are equipped to understand and manage their unique Financial Crime risks. This initiative is driven by regulatory findings from the Federal Reserve and FCA Skilled Persons reviews, making your contribution vital to our success.
Key Skills We’re Looking For
- Financial Crime or Compliance Knowledge: A deep understanding of the field to accurately identify risks like fraud and train staff on upcoming regulations.
- Tangible Training Expertise: Proven experience in instructional design and creating engaging training content.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage feedback from line managers and Business Management teams.
- Good Governance Skillset: Experience in developing oversight of controls or solid experience in Financial Crime policy.
- Evaluation and Measurement: Familiarity with methodologies for assessing training effectiveness over time.
- Desirable Certifications: Relevant Financial Crime certifications and formal instructional design training are preferred but not mandatory.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a targeted, role-based mandatory training framework from scratch.
- Conduct Training Needs Assessments to identify specific training requirements for employees.
- Design and create comprehensive training materials, including presentation decks and e-learning courses.
- Develop specialized content that teaches employees how to identify, manage, and escalate financial crime risks.
- Measure the impact and effectiveness of training programs to ensure learning objectives are achieved.
