Your New Role

Join us as a Production Support Engineer and play a vital role in supporting live productions for TNT Sports and Eurosport. You’ll be at the heart of thrilling events like football, cricket, rugby, and cycling.

As part of our Broadcast Engineering team, you’ll provide tier 2 support for studios, production, and post-production, ensuring seamless operations for our partners. Collaborate closely with Tier 1 teams in Chiswick and Paris, and engage with industry experts on exciting projects.

This role is based in Stockley Park, London, with a shift-based pattern that includes weekends and occasional nights. Some travel to other sites, particularly Chiswick Park, may be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all engineering requirements are met alongside other teams.
  • Collaborate with Production to guarantee smooth live event operations.
  • Manage ticketing processes from initiation to resolution, including repairs and maintenance.
  • Contribute to team projects and assist with large-scale initiatives.
  • Keep technical documentation updated and maintain effective communication.
  • Support Management and Lead Broadcast Engineers as needed.
  • Engage positively and proactively with all stakeholders.
  • Adhere to health & safety protocols and best practices.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of the production engineering environment and broadcast chain.
  • Outstanding troubleshooting skills and the ability to fault-find from first principles.
  • Calm and effective in high-pressure, time-critical broadcast environments.
  • Extensive technical background in broadcast technologies (IP video, UHD & HD video, audio formats, etc.).
  • Good grasp of IT technologies and their challenges (networking, cloud services, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt to technical changes in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Strong team player with self-motivation and a customer service mindset.
  • Appreciation for project management and health & safety best practices.

While these requirements are desirable, we welcome candidates with a strong technical background and a passion for learning.

Working Conditions

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours will be carried out at the workplace. WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary for business needs.
