Hours:

40 hours a week

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of our Building Solutions South team, where you will work on a secured environments project with a key client. You’ll play a crucial role in delivering high-quality construction projects valued between £5m - £15m. Collaborate with our experienced team to ensure commercial success and foster strong client relationships. We’re looking for someone who is collaborative, proactive, and eager to grow in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Your Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:

• Manage project finances to maximize gross margin and support budgeted profitability.
• Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
• Measure, value, and agree on work to support invoicing and payments.
• Identify and negotiate contract variations with clients and the supply chain.
• Produce monthly commercial reports and accurate cost forecasts.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Have experience in a similar quantity surveying role within construction.
• Hold a relevant qualification (degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying is desirable).
• Possess strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with diverse teams.
• Are organized, detail-focused, and able to work collaboratively towards shared goals.
• Are comfortable using IT packages, including Microsoft Office, and are eager to continue your professional development.
