We’re on the lookout for a dynamic individual who thrives on crafting original apparel ideas that go beyond the brief. If you’re passionate about design, enjoy collaborating with a team, and are eager to bring fresh thinking to your work, we want to hear from you!
Your Role Will Include:
- Designing and launching new apparel ranges using pre-designed style guides and your own creative flair.
- Creating Harry Potter products tailored for the UK Tour and the global Harry Potter landscape.
- Exploring opportunities in E-commerce and in-store visual merchandising.
- Collaborating closely with buying and merchandising teams to bring apparel concepts to life.
- Supporting wear testing and consumer feedback loops to translate insights into actionable product improvements.
- Introducing innovative apparel ideas and techniques based on current trends.
- Balancing business requirements and technical constraints while developing designs.
- Driving technical fit and construction development, including fit blocks and grading guidance.
What You Bring to the Table:
- A passion for imagining, designing, and creating fantastic apparel ranges.
- Solid fashion design experience in a retail environment, particularly with FMCG.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat, along with general knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Experience presenting projects to diverse teams and senior stakeholders.
- A keen interest in defining the design process and collaborating with disciplines like buying, merchandising, and visual merchandising.
- A strong sense of aesthetics and storytelling through visuals, with the ability to create clear artboards that include all apparel requirements.
Working Conditions
This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days will be carried out at the workplace. Please note that WBD reserves the right to adjust this working agreement as necessary for business needs, with reasonable notice.
