Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Basic Salary: Up to £43,626.47 per annum, dependent upon experience
Base Location: Remote - North East
Covering Area: Teesside and other areas of the North East

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will be a vital part of our friendly and dynamic team, primarily working with Foster Parents in the Teesside area, with opportunities to engage with households across the North East.

• You will lead the recruitment, training, assessment, support, and supervision of Foster Parents, ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children.

About You

• You are an enthusiastic and committed self-starter, capable of working independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and Foster Parents.
• Excellent assessment skills and strong communication abilities (both written and verbal) are essential, along with good IT skills for high-quality report writing.
• You must be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. While recent experience in fostering and children's services is desirable, we welcome less experienced candidates as well.
• A solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures in fostering and safeguarding is crucial.
• We seek innovative applicants who share our creative vision, whether you're new to fostering or an experienced supervising social worker.
