Position Overview

Job Title: Teacher
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £28,000 - £39,520
Contract Term: Permanent
Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm
Location: Battle, East Sussex

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a teacher at ISP School, you will:

  • Teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.
  • Plan, prepare, and present engaging lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
  • Utilize our positive behaviour policy to foster responsibility and accountability among students.
  • Inspire a love of learning and motivate students to thrive academically.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Have successful teaching experience, particularly with vulnerable children.
  • Possess SEN experience, focusing on nurturing children with SEMH and ASC needs.
  • Have a solid understanding of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths.
  • Exhibit excellent behaviour management skills and a reflective teaching practice.
  • Be knowledgeable about therapeutic approaches to education.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Provide dynamic and engaging lessons that captivate students.

Additional Information
