This is your chance to be part of exciting refurbishment and re-cladding projects valued between £5m - £15m, all while making a positive impact on communities every day!
About the Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be at the heart of our commercial team, driving project profitability and nurturing vital commercial relationships. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Managing commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin through effective contract placement and control.
- Tendering, evaluating, and appointing subcontractors, along with placing orders for materials and plant.
- Identifying, negotiating, and agreeing on project variations with customers and suppliers.
- Measuring, valuing, and agreeing on work progress to support invoicing and payment processes.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the supply chain.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Hold a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (desirable) and have relevant experience in a similar role.
- Possess strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Are highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Are confident using IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke systems.
- Embrace collaboration, sharing knowledge, and supporting others while taking initiative when needed.
Working Conditions
This position requires a commitment of 40 hours a week, from 08:30 to 17:00. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this role.
