Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to become a key player in our vibrant Regional Construction team based in Leeds.
About the Role
In this exciting position, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering remarkable projects ranging from £10M to £80M across various sectors including education, healthcare, leisure, and government. Your expertise will ensure the commercial success of our projects from tender to completion, collaborating with talented teams to achieve outstanding results.
Your Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Advise on the financial viability of projects during early stages and tender processes.
- Organize procurement strategies and assess returns from sub-contractors to achieve the best value.
- Negotiate with our supply chain to secure optimal commercial outcomes.
- Monitor project expenditure against budgets through detailed Cost Value Reconciliation Reports.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide commercial expertise and guidance.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you:
- Have experience with large two-stage bids and high-value construction projects.
- Possess expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions.
- Have a strong understanding of procurement and sub-contractor management.
- Are confident in creating detailed commercial reports for senior stakeholders.
- Hold a relevant degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Have a valid full Driving License.
