Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Regional Construction team based in Leeds. Here, you’ll be part of exciting projects ranging from £10M to £80M across various sectors including education, healthcare, leisure, and government.

About the Role

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in ensuring the commercial success of our projects from tender through to completion. You’ll collaborate with talented teams to deliver exceptional results. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Advising on the financial viability of projects during early stages and tender processes.
  • Organising procurement strategies and assessing returns from sub-contractors to achieve the best value.
  • Negotiating with our supply chain to secure optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Monitoring project expenditure against budgets through detailed Cost Value Reconciliation Reports.
  • Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide commercial expertise and guidance.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if:

  • You have experience working on large two-stage bids and high-value construction projects.
  • You possess expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions.
  • You have a strong understanding of procurement and sub-contractor management.
  • You’re confident in creating detailed commercial reports for senior stakeholders.
  • You hold a relevant degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • You have a valid full Driving License.
