Location: Sheffield
Hours: 08:30 – 17:00 (40 hours a week)

Your Role

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing commercial resources to maximize our planned gross margin. You’ll be working both on-site and in the office for 3+ days a week, ensuring the delivery of high-quality projects for our key strategic clients.

Key Responsibilities

In this dynamic role, you will:

• Manage commercial resources to maximize planned gross margin and support budgeted profitability.
• Tender, evaluate, and appoint subcontractors, while placing orders for materials and plant.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate variations to contracts with customers and suppliers.
• Measure and value work to support invoicing of customers and payment to suppliers.
• Produce monthly VCRs and End Life Forecasts, managing cash flows effectively.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

• Possess excellent communication skills and have experience working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and supply chains.
• Hold relevant qualifications (Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying preferred) and have experience in a similar role.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Are flexible and can work both independently and as part of a team.
• Are proficient in a range of IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke software.
