Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic Kier Places - Building Solutions team in the vibrant city of London.

Location: London
Hours: 40 hours a week, 08:30 – 17:00

Your Impact

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be at the forefront of managing the commercial resources for exciting refurbishment and re-cladding projects valued between £5m - £15m. Join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering high-quality projects that make a positive impact on communities across London!

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be an integral part of the commercial team, focusing on maximizing project profitability and nurturing commercial relationships. Your daily tasks will include:

  • Managing commercial resources and maximizing planned gross margin through strategic contract placement and control.
  • Tendering, evaluating, and appointing subcontractors, along with placing orders for materials and plant.
  • Identifying, negotiating, and agreeing on project variations with customers and suppliers.
  • Measuring, valuing, and agreeing on work progress to support invoicing and payment processes.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the supply chain.

What We’re Looking For

This role is perfect for you if you:

  • Hold a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (desirable) and have relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Possess strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
  • Are highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Are confident using IT packages, including Microsoft Office and bespoke systems.
  • Embrace collaboration, sharing knowledge, and supporting others while taking initiative when needed.
