Your New Role
As a Junior Technical Engineer, you will play a vital role in supporting Filmbankmedia’s technology team across software development, quality assurance, and technical operations. Reporting to the Principal Software Architect, you’ll help evolve our licensing platforms, develop applications, and ensure a seamless experience for customers worldwide.

Your Role Accountabilities
Software Development: Design and implement clean, maintainable code for standalone applications and core platform functionality, primarily using React and Next.js.
Quality Assurance: Execute manual and automated testing suites to ensure platform stability, focusing on building end-to-end tests with Playwright.
Technical Customer Support: Serve as a primary technical contact for external customers, resolving complex issues with our licensing and distribution systems.
Maintenance & Documentation: Assist the Principal Architect in maintaining legacy systems and documenting technical workflows and support procedures.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on modern web technologies and best practices in security to contribute effectively in architectural discussions.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in a technical role with a strong emphasis on hands-on coding.
Strong foundational knowledge of React and Next.js.
Familiarity with web-related technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) and data storage technologies (ElasticSearch, MySQL) is beneficial.
Attention to detail and a methodical approach to QA; experience with Playwright or similar automated testing tools is a plus.
Basic understanding of networking, infrastructure, or DevOps concepts; knowledge of AWS is advantageous.

Working Conditions
This role is offered as a Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work, in line with our current company policy and agreed upon with your Line Manager. Please note that this working agreement may be adjusted based on business needs.
