Role: Associate Therapist - Fostering
Location: FCA South East - Home-based
Salary: £35 per hour

With our office located in London Bridge, our passionate team and Foster Parents are spread across Kent, Sussex, London, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, and the Isle of Wight.

What We Are Looking For

Are you a motivated and passionate therapist or a therapy-trained social worker? We want you to help us deliver exceptional therapy services and enhance our therapeutic environment for looked-after children and young people.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Providing consultation sessions to Foster Parents facing challenges.
  • Collaborating with team members to address issues related to placements.
  • Engaging with external local authorities, social workers, and schools.
  • Building strong relationships with new Foster Parents through workshops and group sessions.
  • Facilitating ongoing reflective therapeutic practice and learning with staff.

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in a fostering service or a similar environment.
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to follow regulatory policies.
  • A collaborative spirit to thrive in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must be qualified and accredited with one of the following professional bodies:

  • BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • BPS - British Psychological Society
  • HCPC - Health and Care Professions Council
  • UKCP - UK Council for Psychotherapy
  • PTUK - Play Therapy UK
