Base Location: Chesham
Covering Area: Aylesbury, Bracknell, Reading, and Woking
Salary: £29,600 per annum (£37,000 FTE)
Hours: 4 days per week (28 hours)

Your Role
As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster parents and ensuring the highest standards of care for children. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
- Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is passionate about fostering and committed to working collaboratively with foster parents. Here’s what you need to bring:
- A Social Work England-recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
- Experience in children and families social work.
- A desire to work within a therapeutic model of childcare.
- A solid understanding of relevant legislation and publications related to children's services.
- A full driving licence and unrestricted access to your own car.
Working Conditions
This role is demanding yet rewarding, requiring excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. You will also need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by ISP.
