Basic Salary: £14,117.74 (equivalent to £23,529.57 FTE)
Hours: 21 hours per week
Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term
Location: Head Office - Nottingham

Your Role

As our new Education Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our young people receive the educational support they need to thrive. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a nurturing environment focused on making a real difference.

What We’re Looking For

If you have a passion for education and experience in an educational or children's services setting, we want to hear from you! Here’s what you’ll need:

  • A commitment to improving educational opportunities for looked-after children
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently while staying connected with team members and Foster Parents
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to analyze and produce educational data
  • Proficiency in maintaining the CHARMS database (training provided)
  • Experience in delivering training to Foster Parents and staff
  • Understanding of the Code of Practice and its implications for young people
  • Experience supporting looked-after children and awareness of their challenges
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-agency team
  • Experience in educational settings
  • Capability to attend meetings and take minutes
  • Experience in producing reports and administrative tasks
