Role Overview
As a Fostering Recruitment Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment of foster parents across our community. This part-time, permanent position (30 hours per week) offers a salary of up to £20,502.86 pro rata per annum (full-time equivalent £23,920).
Your Responsibilities
- Be the friendly point of contact for fostering applicants during their assessment journey.
- Process all statutory checks from external agencies efficiently.
- Manage multiple applications concurrently, ensuring a smooth experience for each applicant.
- Keep our systems updated with timely administration tasks.
- Handle all incoming correspondence via phone, email, and post.
- Collaborate closely with internal colleagues and external organizations throughout the assessment process.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong administration skills: Experience in maintaining databases and handling confidential paperwork.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Outlook is essential.
- Multitasking ability: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can prioritize effectively.
- Team player: You work well with others but can also take initiative when needed.
- Excellent communication skills: Clear, friendly, and confident in person, in writing, and over the phone.
- Qualifications: GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent). Experience in children's services is a plus, but full training will be provided.
