Contract: 12 Month Fixed Term
Hours: 21 hours per week
Salary: £14,117.74 (pro-rated), £23,529.57 FTE

What We Are Looking For
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Education Coordinator to join our fostering team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment, ensuring our young people receive the education they deserve to reach their full potential.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Improving educational opportunities for looked-after children.
- Providing support and advice on educational issues.
- Maintaining and utilizing the CHARMS database (training provided).
- Producing reports for management meetings.
- Delivering training packages to Foster Parents and staff.
- Collaborating with colleagues to analyze educational data.
- Attending meetings and taking minutes.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A commitment to enhancing educational opportunities for looked-after children.
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation, with the ability to work independently while staying connected with the team.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience in supporting looked-after children and understanding the challenges they face.
- Experience working as part of a multi-agency team.
- Confidence in delivering training and producing reports.
