Position: Nursery Deputy Manager – Woodhams Farm Day Nursery
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience) + £2,000 welcome bonus
Hours: 40 hours per week
Qualification: Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential

Your Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
- Understand and uphold the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
- Assist in managing medication administration and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date.
- Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to each child's age and development stage.
- Promote respect and credibility through effective communication, impartiality, and consistency.
- Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
- Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
- Undertake additional duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the wellbeing of all.

Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification - Essential
- Leadership experience - Essential
- Over 1 year of experience in Early Years - Essential
- Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - Essential
- Over 1 year of experience in a management position - Desirable
- Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership - Desirable
- Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding - Desirable
