Location: Footsteps Lichfield Road Day Nursery & Pre-School

Salary: £31,200 (depending on experience)

Hours: 40 hours per week

Qualification: Level 3 Childcare Qualification is essential

Your Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff member, parent, and visitor at all times.
• Understand and uphold the statutory framework for the EYFS throughout the nursery.
• Assist in managing medication administration and ensure care plans are thorough and up to date.
• Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences tailored to each child's age and development stage.
• Promote respect and credibility through effective communication, impartiality, and consistency.
• Inspire the staff team with creative ideas and challenges to achieve outstanding practice.
• Maintain accurate records and accounts related to children and staff on the EyMan system.
• Undertake additional duties to ensure the smooth running of the nursery and the wellbeing of everyone involved.

Requirements:

• Essential: Full and relevant Level 3 in Childcare qualification.
• Essential: Leadership experience.
• Essential: Over 1 year of experience in Early Years.
• Essential: Sound knowledge of the statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements.
• Desirable: Over 1 year of experience in a management position.
• Desirable: Level 5 qualification in Childcare and/or Management and Leadership.
• Desirable: Experience of successfully passing an Ofsted inspection to good or outstanding.
