Salary: £34,660.95

Location: Greater London (Covering Area Camden homes in Camden, Haringey & Islington)

Important: To be considered for this role, candidates must have relevant experience and qualifications. You should possess 2 to 3 years of experience and hold a Children's Workforce Diploma or an equivalent qualification in the children sector.

Your Role in Our Mission

As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality care and fostering positive outcomes for young people aged 11-18. Your responsibilities will include:

Main Purpose of the Role:

In this position, you will:

• Act as a key worker, overseeing daily practices and supporting continuous improvement.
• Lead and mentor staff, ensuring care plans and safeguarding standards are met.
• Record and review key work, plans, and risk assessments to maintain compliance.
• Manage placement plans and coordinate access to health, education, and therapeutic services.
• Report directly to the Registered Manager, ensuring high standards are maintained.

Leadership and Home Management:

• Provide strong leadership and coaching to ensure high-quality care.
• Support the Manager/Senior team in upholding care standards and implementing policies.
• Monitor compliance with Children's Homes Regulations, Quality Standards, and Health & Safety.
• Work as part of the rota to support the home's 24/7 operation.
• Contribute to quality assurance, including inspections and Regulation 44 visits.
• Assist with managing the home's budget and general household upkeep.
