We are looking for a passionate individual to support our Employee Relations Workforce Change & Restructuring team at Barclays in London. Your Role

As a key player in our team, you will:

  • Support the delivery model across Barclays, driving and managing allocated change programs.
  • Collaborate with HRBP, ER, and other specialist HR functions for various change initiatives, including restructuring, outsourcing, and new site setups.

Key Responsibilities

Your contributions will include:

  • Project Initiation: Kickstart change initiatives with clarity and purpose.
  • Due Diligence: Conduct thorough assessments to inform decision-making.
  • Consultation: Engage with stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Implementation: Execute change programs effectively.
  • Communication Plan: Develop strategies to keep everyone informed.
  • Governance and Risk: Manage risks and ensure compliance.
  • Center of Excellence (COE): Contribute to best practices in workforce change.

What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in Workforce Change / Restructuring (highlighted in your CV).
  • Experience managing unions and conducting consultations in unionized environments.
  • Strong background in employee consultations and redundancy processes.
  • Experience with Tupe projects and leading large-scale change programs.
  • A solid understanding of current employment legislation.
  • Excellent project management, change management, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Intermediate Excel skills, including data management and analysis.

Working Conditions

This is a 6-month contract position based in London, with a hybrid working model—3 days a week in the office. We value flexibility and are committed to creating a supportive work environment.
