Salary: £46,202.89 per year (with potential earnings up to £53,402.89 through bonuses)
Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Since our establishment in 1999, we have built a strong reputation in the residential adolescent childcare sector, operating seven children's homes, all rated as Good by Ofsted.
Your Role
As our new Registered Manager, you will lead our established 3-bed children's home in Bristol. This is an incredible opportunity to join an organization with a solid regulatory track record and a leadership team that truly understands the challenges of managing a children's home.

And you won’t be doing this alone! Our homes are supported by an experienced Responsible Individual and a knowledgeable Head of Care, ensuring you receive strong guidance and practical support as you settle into your role.
What We Offer
- £2,000 car allowance
- Occupancy bonus: £175 per child after the first child
- Ofsted performance bonuses: £500 for a Good report and £1,000 for an Outstanding report
- On-call payments: £10 per day Monday to Friday, £50 per day on weekends
- 22 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays
- Non-contributory pension with a 9% employer contribution
- Company sick pay after successful completion of probation
- Enhanced sick pay of five days' full sick pay

About You
We are looking for a values-led and resilient leader who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in children's lives. You should bring a positive, non-judgmental approach and a strong commitment to listening to children, understanding their wishes and feelings, and ensuring their voices influence the care they receive.
You will have:
- A thorough knowledge of Children's Homes legislation, Ofsted inspection requirements, and safeguarding procedures
- A Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People's Workforce, or equivalent
- A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or a willingness to complete this)
- A minimum of two years' relevant experience in residential care for children
- At least one year's experience supervising and managing staff in a care role
- A full manual driving license, access to your own car, and the ability to undertake on-call duties
Your Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a 3-bed children's home, ensuring high-quality, individualized care
- Be accountable for the safe and efficient running of the home
- Ensure care planning, reports, and monitoring systems are completed to a high standard
- Motivate, support, and develop a committed staff team
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Ofsted standards
- Represent Headway Adolescent Resources professionally with external agencies and the community
