Role: Associate Therapist - Fostering
Location: FCA South East - Home-based
Salary: £35 per hour

With our office located in London Bridge, our passionate team and Foster Parents are spread across Kent, Sussex, London, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, and the Isle of Wight.

What We Are Looking For

Are you a motivated and passionate therapist or a therapy-trained social worker? If so, we want you to help us deliver exceptional therapy services and enhance our therapeutic environment for looked-after children and young people.

As an Associate Therapist, you will:

  • Provide consultation sessions to Foster Parents facing challenges, collaborating with our team to address placement issues.
  • Build strong relationships with new Foster Parents by leading sessions and groups during their first year.
  • Facilitate workshops for our staff to promote ongoing reflective therapeutic practice and learning.

Requirements and Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working within a fostering service or a similar environment.
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to adhere to regulatory policies and processes.
  • A collaborative spirit to excel in a fast-paced team setting.

Applicants must be qualified and accredited with one of the following professional bodies:

  • BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • BPS - British Psychological Society
  • HCPC - Health and Care Professions Council
  • UKCP - UK Council for Psychotherapy
  • PTUK - Play Therapy UK
