Role: Senior / Supervising Social Worker

Contract: Full Time

Basic Salary: Up to £43,626.47 per annum, depending on experience

Base Location: Remote - North West

Covering Area: Merseyside and other areas within the North West

Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will be an integral part of our friendly and dynamic team, primarily working with Foster Parent households in Merseyside and the North West region. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Recruiting, training, assessing, supporting, and supervising a diverse range of Foster Parents.
  • Ensuring high-quality placements for looked-after children.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and Foster Parents. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent assessment skills and strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills and the capability to produce high-quality reports.
  • A qualification in Social Work and current Social Work England registration.
  • Recent experience in fostering and children's services is desirable, though less experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
  • A solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
  • A drive to innovate and share our creative vision, whether you're new to fostering or an experienced supervising social worker.
