Your Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Education Coordinator to join our fostering team in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your skills in a supportive environment focused on helping young people achieve their educational potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Improve educational opportunities for looked-after children.
- Provide support and advice on educational issues.
- Maintain and utilize the CHARMS database (training provided).
- Analyze and produce educational data and reports.
- Deliver training packages to Foster Parents and staff.
- Attend meetings and take minutes for various discussions.
What We’re Looking For
You should have:
- A passion for improving educational outcomes for looked-after children.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- The ability to work independently while staying connected with team members and Foster Parents.
- Experience in supporting looked-after children and understanding the challenges they face.
- Experience working in a multi-agency team and in educational settings.
