Founded in 1994 by a former Foster Parent and social worker, Foster Care Associates (FCA) has grown into one of the UK's largest and most respected independent fostering agencies. Your Role
As a Therapist at FCA (Yorks & Lincs), you will:
- Deliver high-quality therapy services to Foster Parents.
- Facilitate a therapeutic environment for looked-after children and young people.
- Conduct consultations, training, workshops, and group sessions.
- Collaborate with social work staff and other agencies to support children’s stability.
- Build strong relationships with Foster Parents to enhance their understanding of therapeutic fostering.
What We’re Looking For
We seek a highly motivated individual who:
- Has experience working within a fostering service or similar environment.
- Can demonstrate strong administrative skills and adherence to regulatory policies.
- Thrives in a fast-paced team setting.
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position based in Sheffield. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children and families.
What We Offer
At FCA, we value our employees and offer a competitive salary of up to £36,000 per annum, depending on experience. Our benefits include:
