Location: FCA South East - Home-based

Salary: £35 per hour

What We Are Looking For

Are you a highly motivated and passionate therapist or a therapy-trained social worker? If so, we want you to help us deliver exceptional therapy services that create a nurturing environment for looked-after children and young people.

Your Role

As an Associate Therapist, you will:

  • Provide consultation sessions for Foster Parents facing challenges, collaborating with our team to address placement issues.
  • Build strong relationships with new Foster Parents by leading sessions and groups during their first year.
  • Facilitate workshops for our staff to enhance ongoing reflective therapeutic practice and learning.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in a fostering service or a similar environment.
  • Can demonstrate strong administration skills and the ability to adhere to regulatory policies.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must be qualified and accredited with one of the following professional bodies:

  • BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • BPS - British Psychological Society
  • HCPC - Health and Care Professions Council
  • UKCP - UK Council for Psychotherapy
  • PTUK - Play Therapy UK
