Location: Bromsgrove

Contract: Part Time, Permanent - 30 hours per week

Salary: Up to £20,502.86 pro rata per annum (full-time equivalent £23,920)

Your Role

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic Fostering Recruitment Administrator to join our vibrant team. In this essential role, you will be the backbone of our recruitment process, guiding prospective foster parents through their journey with us.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for fostering applicants during their assessment, building strong relationships along the way.
  • Process all statutory checks from external agencies efficiently.
  • Manage multiple concurrent applications while ensuring a smooth experience for each applicant.
  • Keep our systems updated with timely administration tasks.
  • Handle all incoming correspondence—phone, email, and postal—related to the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate closely with internal assessment teams and regional operational teams.
  • Liaise with external individuals and organizations to facilitate the fostering assessment process.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong Administration Skills: Experience in maintaining databases, electronic filing systems, and handling confidential paperwork.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in the full Microsoft suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Multitasking Ability: Capable of prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Works well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent Communication: Clear, friendly, and confident in person, in writing, and over the phone.
  • Qualifications: GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Background in children's services or office administration is a plus, but full training will be provided.
