Salary: £35 per hour

What We Are Looking For
Are you a motivated and passionate therapist or a therapy-trained social worker? We want you to help us deliver high-quality therapy services that create a nurturing environment for looked-after children and young people.
Your Role
As an Associate Therapist, you will:
- Provide consultation sessions to Foster Parents facing challenges in their placements.
- Collaborate with team members to address issues related to placements and liaise with external authorities, social workers, and schools.
- Build strong relationships with new Foster Parents by facilitating sessions and groups during their first year.
- Run workshops for staff to promote ongoing reflective therapeutic practice and learning.
What You Bring
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have experience working within a fostering service or a similar environment.
- Can demonstrate strong administration skills and the ability to adhere to regulatory policies.
- Thrive in a fast-paced team setting.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must be qualified and accredited with one of the following professional bodies:
- BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
- BPS - British Psychological Society
- HCPC - Health and Care Professions Council
- UKCP - UK Council for Psychotherapy
- PTUK - Play Therapy UK
