Location: Home-based, FCA South East

Salary: £35 per hour

With our office located in London Bridge, our passionate team and Foster Parents are spread across Kent, Sussex, London, Southampton, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, and the Isle of Wight.

What We Are Looking For

Are you a motivated and passionate therapist or a therapy-trained social worker? We want you to help us deliver high-quality therapy services that create a nurturing environment for looked-after children and young people.

Your Role

As an Associate Therapist, you will:

  • Provide consultation sessions to Foster Parents facing challenges in their placements.
  • Collaborate with team members to address issues related to placements and liaise with external authorities, social workers, and schools.
  • Build strong relationships with new Foster Parents by facilitating sessions and groups during their first year.
  • Run workshops for staff to promote ongoing reflective therapeutic practice and learning.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates who:

  • Have experience working within a fostering service or a similar environment.
  • Can demonstrate strong administration skills and the ability to adhere to regulatory policies.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced team setting.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must be qualified and accredited with one of the following professional bodies:

  • BACP - British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
  • BPS - British Psychological Society
  • HCPC - Health and Care Professions Council
  • UKCP - UK Council for Psychotherapy
  • PTUK - Play Therapy UK
