Your Role

As a Senior / Supervising Social Worker, you will:

  • Recruit, train, assess, support, and supervise Foster Parents.
  • Ensure high-quality placements for looked-after children.
  • Work primarily with Foster Parent households in Merseyside and the North West.

What We’re Looking For

We seek an enthusiastic and committed self-starter who can work independently while maintaining strong connections with team members and Foster Parents. The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
  • Possess excellent assessment and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Have good IT skills and the ability to produce high-quality reports.
  • Have a solid understanding of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to fostering and safeguarding.
  • Bring a drive for innovation and creativity, whether you are new to fostering or an experienced professional.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position with a base salary of up to £43,626.47 per annum, depending on experience. You will work remotely, covering Merseyside and other areas within the North West.
