Founded in 1987 by a dedicated group of foster parents, ISP is proud to be the UK's first independent foster care agency. With over 30 years of experience, we have built a strong foundation of support for looked-after children, ensuring they receive the specialized care they need. Our Integrated Services Programme surrounds children and foster parents with a network of professionals, including social workers, fostering advisors, teachers, and therapists, all committed to a therapeutic approach to fostering.

Your Role

As a Supervising Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting foster parents and ensuring high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload.
• Conducting regular supervision sessions to monitor practice and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborating with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is:

• Enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents.
• Experienced in working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Skilled in report writing and able to meet strict deadlines.
• Holds a Social Work England-recognized qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledgeable about relevant legislation in children's services.
• Possesses a full driving license and has unrestricted access to a car.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, requiring you to work 28 hours per week over 4 days. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to fostering excellence in care.
